Oh, I\'m very sorry, I misread your post.
NEWT has a rudimentary search/filter feature which we intend on improving on greatly later this year. Just select the Software tab and choose \"Search & Filter\", then type in part of the name you want to see and click \"Filter Include\". To unfilter the list, click the Cancel button.
This works fine if you just want to see all WordPerfect\'s, etc. But if you needed more detailed filtering such as wanting to view computers with WordPerfect but with only 512KB of RAM, you\'d need to use Access to perform a query/filter on the data.
You may also find the Itemization tool useful as well when a quick count is needed. To use, just right-click in the column (not the header) you wish to count and select \"Itemize\" near the middle of the menu. This will show counts of each piece of software you have, for example, if you were to right-click in the Software column under the Software tab.
We\'re also looking to add a software audit feature so you can easily see how many copies owned vs. how many are installed. NEWT would then be able to alert you if more copies are installed than owned or how many are left.
