Slitheris Network Discovery - Feature Requests / Re: Scan partial IP address or Specific
« Last post by Komodo Support on May 08, 2019, 01:43:55 PM »Hi, we've been working to add this for a while now, but maybe we've been trying to do way too much at once.
We will do our best to get this feature added this month, even if it's something basic at first.
Thank you for letting us know, as it does greatly influence what we do here.

NEWT Pro Network Inventory - Bug Reports / Re: Missing Monitor Information on WIN 10 Machines
« Last post by intenselighting on April 02, 2019, 12:01:19 AM »I would like to add here that we are experiencing the same problem. Only the Windows 7 PCs will show the monitor info. All Windows 10 machines are not populating any monitor info and says that it was off during the scan, which they weren't.

NEWT Pro Network Inventory - Bug Reports / Re: Missing Monitor Information on WIN 10 Machines
« Last post by bskipper on March 11, 2019, 01:52:09 PM »Our system administrator and myself have tested several where one of us will be sitting at a pc to make sure the monitor is on while the other will do a scan. Each time we receive the same result. I appreciate the quick response and your help with this.

Just an FYI. the monitor does need to be on during boot for us to be able to read the EDID info, but I'm sure you have that on all or some you've tested.

NEWT Pro Network Inventory - Bug Reports / Missing Monitor Information on WIN 10 Machines
« Last post by bskipper on March 08, 2019, 02:05:18 PM »Does anyone else have issues with monitor information missing from scans performed on Windows 10 machines? Every WIN 10 machine that's scanned shows the "Monitor off during boot?" error. I have done test scans on WIN 10 machines that I know for sure the monitor is on and receive the same error. Any tips or tricks to fix this?

NEWT Pro Network Inventory - General Discussion / Re: Any news on scanning hardware on Linux machines?
« Last post by shinta863 on January 22, 2019, 04:13:37 PM »Yes, I was thinking about SSH or having something that's embedded into NEWT pro that would allow you to do that to gather the information as well.
Please let me know what you come up with and how your planning to implement it. Thanks for the quick response.

NEWT Pro Network Inventory - General Discussion / Re: Any news on scanning hardware on Linux machines?
« Last post by Komodo Support on January 22, 2019, 03:54:33 PM »We've been planning to add this for quite some time now. The idea was to use SSH for Linux/Unix/MacOS to pull similar information as NEWT Pro does with Windows PCs. Is that what you were thinking?
Of course there are many Linux-based systems in the IoT world, etc. that do not have SSH, but we've been researching ways to at least identify such devices.
