I have installed version 2.0 of Newt. Can I add customized fields, such as asset tag number, customer name, and location?

We\'re sorry, NEWT doesn\'t yet have custom fields, but this is one of the top ten feature requests for a future update.

Excellent. I\'ll be waiting for those features. Having those extra fields would make Newt a step closer to a true inventory package.

For now, I can use the comment field to add asset tag, etc. :D

Are you using NEWT to set the fields on the actual computers or are you simply changing the data inside NEWT?
