Title: contact author: 1 on OS type (fixed as of v2.5)

Want to know what this error is.  Even though I can still scan the machine, it seems that every machine that has this error,  I can\'t connect to from another program.  If I can fix it in Newt I can possibly fix the program that is giving me problems.

Hi.  If you mean the column that says \"OS Type (DB)\", this is mostly an experimental feature that uses a built-in database to try and determine if the remote machine is Server, Workstation, Professional, etc.  It shouldn\'t affect any part of the scanning process.

If you receive this error, you should get the correct OS type (under the \"OS Type (WMI)\" column after scanning.  We may move this feature to the \"experimental\" features that are normally not shown unless it\'s enabled under Preferences.

If you could, please send a copy of your scan (MRF file) to us at support@komodolabs.com.  You can do this via \"Save As...\" under the File menu.  This would allow us to get a better feel for what you\'re seeing.  We might be able to give suggestions on why you can\'t connect from other programs too.
