Title: error 1311 (no logon servers available)

I\'m getting an error on a PC,  Connection error occurred (Error 1311: There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.) -> Hint: Try visiting \"\\\\WKS40\" from Windows Explorer or IE.

any ideas? I\'ve changed any issues with security as per the forums,

Again, apologies for suggesting the incorrect fix for this error.  This is a more difficult error to get around however and isn\'t common.

May I ask, is this WKS40 on a domain or is it on a workgroup?  If it is on a domain, are you sure you\'re logged in as a Domain Admin?
