Title: WinRar not scanning

I have several computers that have WinRar on them and Newt is not picking it up. Running Newt version 2.5. Any suggestions?

Hi there.  We just tested it here by scanning a 32-bit XP and 64-bit Win7 PC.  Both have WinRAR installed and both showed under the software tab.

Can you tell me what build you have?  It should say v2.5.xxx" at the top in the titlebar, where xxx is the build number.

Oh, ok.  That's quite an old build, so I can understand why it may not be working.  We've done quite a bit of improving since then.  It wasn't until build 120 when we added automatic web updates, so that's why you don't know about the newest versions.

Could you download the latest build from our website and give it a try?  You should be able to install it right over your old build.  You can get to it at the top of our website (http://www.komodolabs.com) or directly from this file link (http://www.komodolabs.com/newtpro/newtpro.exe).

From now on you should be alerted whenever a new version comes out.
