Title: Windows 8.1 and 2012 R2 not detected correctly

in the Operative System section it reports
Unknown, please contact author: Windows NT 6.3
while in OS Type (WMI) it reports Windows 8.1 Pro
Same result with 2012 R2.
Also, in an unrelated/related note. How is the beta coming? I could not find the link in my PC.
As of version 252 also newt will not scan if I don't modify the ping timeout once (Windows 8 and Windows 8.1) at least 1 time.

Hi, and thanks for letting us know about those.  We'll get them fixed in the very next v2.5 maintenance update.

We double checked issues with Win 8/8.1, but wasn't able to replicate the problem.  There could be a different setting you're using that we're not causing this, but we'll get with you in private and try to work it out, especially if you're able to replicate it easily.

We'll contact you about the beta as well!
