Hi! If this is included inside the monitor itself in place we can pull it, such as the EDID, we should be able to display it in NEWT Pro in the same field as the Monitor Serial Number.

Is there another piece of software you're using that can pull the the monitor service tag from your monitors?

Hi,

Some monitor models (like Dell P2217H) come with a Service Tag beside the traditional Serial Number. It would be great if NEWT can show it in the scan report.

Same situation here... some computers have video projectors attached and the reports shows them first.
I'm looking forward for the multiple display detection feature :)

Hi, we've been working to add this for a while now, but maybe we've been trying to do way too much at once.

We will do our best to get this feature added this month, even if it's something basic at first.

Thank you for letting us know, as it does greatly influence what we do here.

Thank you very much.  We are still working on this issue, but we should have something working very soon, hopefully this week.

I would like to add here that we are experiencing the same problem.  Only the Windows 7 PCs will show the monitor info.  All Windows 10 machines are not populating any monitor info and says that it was off during the scan, which they weren't.

Our system administrator and myself have tested several where one of us will be sitting at a pc to make sure the monitor is on while the other will do a scan. Each time we receive the same result. I appreciate the quick response and your help with this.
