Can't find routed net
« on: February 09, 2005, 10:07:25 AM »
Hi,
Checked out the demo now and Local Net 10.0.0.X net workes fine, but from a routed net 10.110.200.x i get noting at all. All IP-ports are opened on the router. The router is set up to a static route on IP: 10.110.200.X
Have I missed something ?

Hello.  We apologize for the trouble.  There is an IP discovery issue in 1.0 that has been fixed in version 2 and will be released soon.

Thank you !, another quest: would it be possible to scan certain IP ports in the ver. 2 ? For example right now I missed an SQL-server in our net becuse it only answer pings on port 1433.

The initial release of version 2 will not have this feature, however we will consider port scanning for a future maintenance release.

Is there not a way to open up ICMP on your SQL server without compromising security?
