No Privileges... Domain Admin
« on: July 08, 2005, 03:14:19 PM »
I have read through all the posts relating to this. I can scan the remote registry and browse the Uninstall folder. I am a Domain Admin and only scanning machines that are under my domain. I check credentials and it says Full Access. But when I scan I get No Privileges.

I am logged into my workstation with my user ID and then running NEWT with a Run As... and entering my Admin ID.

My MTU is set to 1500.

I am scanning Win2K and XP machines. I have tried my subnet and remote subnets.

It checks the credentials the first time through Check Credentials very quickly, but when I scan it seems to hang on Checking Credentials.

I have tried Empty Credentials, entering in my Admin ID and Password and a combination of both.

Can\'t think of anything else you might need to know. Hope this helps.

thanks!
Jason

Sorry... Idiot Alert!

The only thing I *didn\'t* try was to run it as myself and just use the admin ID in the preferences window.

Yeah... that worked.

No problem.  We\'re glad you got it working.  We think it shows quite the opposite of idiot.  :)
