Several Issues/Errors (WMI fixed as of v2.5)

We just bought a 100 user license for us to use to scan new customers.  Our \"goal\" is to be able to present them with an inventory list as a Free Service from our company.

So far we haven\'t been to successful in using the software.

We\'ve seen errors that range from Error 53 to WMI not available.  Each time the network \"seems\" to be in place... internet access works, shared printers work, etc.

I wondering if there is a better (faster) way to trouble shoot these issues or a check list to ensure that the network is ready for us to scan.

Hello.  We are painfully aware that not all organizations are set up for remote administration, so we are working on a list of troubleshooting solutions for all types of scan errors.

You can check quickly if you have access to machines by right-clicking on machine selections in the Primary and choosing \"Check Credentials\".  Normally WMI is not checked during this, but you can turn on the WMI checking option under Preferences.

For now we are helping users like yourself on an individual basis until the solutions list is finished and verified.

Error 53 should mean there is a software firewal running on the remote machine, but other errors can be more complicated to determine.

Is it possible to send a saved scan or credential check of this network to so we can offer solutions to your issues?
