Hi Julian. As you may know, Newt does install its service when you scan a computer if it\'s not already there. It\'s unable to install it unless you have permission to scan a particular remote PC. The service will automatically remove itself after a certain number of days, which you can set in Preferences, the default setting being 30 days. This method of scanning is what makes Newt so fast and allow you to scan with fewer problems, using much less bandwidth than other solutions.
Does it seem like Newt is not functioning as I described?
