Unrecognized database format (resolved)
« on: September 22, 2010, 07:54:44 PM »
I tried to export my network info to an access database. It seemed to work until I tried to open the database. Access gave me the \"unrecognized database format\" error. What version of Access does Newt write?

Hello there.  We\'re sorry to hear you\'re having this issue.  Newt uses a standard MS Access 2000 database.  We have seen this issue in other language versions of Windows such as Hebrew, but we haven\'t seen it otherwise.  Could you try saving your scan results as an MRF first, load that back in and then try exporting?  This may filter out errors.

:o
Its all good.
Turns out the problem was that I was trying to get at an Access 2000 database from Access 97 (I know, I know, its painful)
I have no problem using Access 2007

That\'s good to hear!  We use an ACC2000 MDB just for that reason, so it\'s easy to open almost anywhere.
