Error 53 and Error 1385

Hey There

I bought the 200 PC license for version 2.5 and have been using NEWT Pro to gather all of the PC\'s info. But I have this two errors 53 and 1385 and i have no idea what to do with them.  Can someone please help me to solve this problem.

Hello Falcon.  We can try to help you with that.

Error 53 usually means the Windows firewall is blocking.  You\'ll want to at least enable the \"File and Printer Sharing\" exception.


Error 1385 is \"Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.\"  This is a very uncommon error.  May I ask how many PCs this error happens with?  I\'d also like to see what you get if you just try to visit a PC with the 1385 error using Windows Explorer or IE, as in \"\\\\ComputerName\"

Also, are you on a domain or are you on a workgroup?

Hey there Support

Thank you with the reply this error is on one PC only. I have this feeling that NEWT doesn\'t discover all of our PC\'s. Is there a way where you can send my the full error list and what might be wrong. I scanned the network now and it looks like there are new errors I haven\'t seen before. All of the PC\'s is in a work group.


This is an excellent program with great features. I just need to get all of my PC\'s on there. :D
