Thank you for reporting this problem.
This is what is known by NEWT as a "static item". These are real-time items that can be viewed in the Network Browser and include the Comment, OS Version and OS Type.
You are correct, they are currently not re-scanned. We are working on a solution to this issue.
To update static items for now, you can delete the machine from the Primary tab and scan it again from the Network Browser by right-clicking on the machine and choosing "Scan Selected".
