How do you switch to free mode
« on: April 27, 2016, 06:32:15 PM »
Hey guys,

I don't see an option to switch to free mode.  It looks like I might not be able to see a portion of the screen near the top where the scan buttons are.  My screen resolution is set to 1920x1080 so it seems odd.

Thanks

Hello.  Unfortunately the "free mode" was discontinued in March for a number of reasons.  We may bring it back in the future, but for now the Pro version is free for up to 25 network devices.

You can read more here:

Also, if it appears you're missing buttons, do you happen to have your Windows "zoom" or display size set to something other than 100%?

I have a new laptop (and a new install of slitheris) and I can't reproduce the issue.  It definitely looks different now - the bottom row of buttons (scad, add ip range, columns, etc) were over lapping the graphics (scan status, ping sweep, ip map, etc) but they aren't anymore.  I'm not sure if this is because of my new system or perhaps a change on your end.

It's most likely a screen scaling issue where even though you were running at 1920x1080, the scaling was probably set to something other than 100%.  This can bring the resolution down to as low as 960x540.  That being said, we are still working out issues on lower resolution or scaled down displays.

Do you happen to have access to the other laptop to check its Display settings and see what scaling is set to?
