Hi there. This is error is extremely rare. We've only received 1 report of it in the past. Could you possibly try disabling the Windows Firewall (if enabled) and disabling your anti-virus temporarily, just to see if one of them is the culprit?
Also, is this Win7 PC on a domain or on a workgroup?
One other user who had this issue was on XP, but they had a corrupt network adapter installation. What helped there was for them to install the adapter in Device Manager and reinstall it, but I doubt that's the case here.
In the next version we're looking to change the way the local PC is scanned. Right now for simplicity's sake, it's just treated like any other remote PC.
