I am sorry if that was discussed elsewhere, but we just purchased a new license and are not sure whether we should download ver. 2.0 or wait for 2.5 if it is just \"around the corner\"?

We hope to have a final release of 2.5 in or before the 3rd quarter of this year, so it\'s still a little ways out.

So we recommend using 2.0 right now, but we also welcome registered owners to check out the beta.

Would you like us to send you info on how to access 2.5?

Thanks for my access code! I am actually running BETA exclusively for now, as it seems to be a great improvement over 2.0 so far... The only thing that I am not doing is leaving the client code on the computers for now. Looking forward to the finished version!

You\'re welcome!  2.5 will definitely be the most important NEWT upgrade ever.

May we ask why you\'re not leaving the client code on the remote computers?  It\'s not a problem, but we\'re interested in the different reasons users have in trading speed for true zero footprint scanning.
